FAQ.
Ceramic
1.How should ceramic bathroom fixtures be cleaned and maintained?
The glazed surface of ceramic products can be cleaned with a neutral cleaning detergent. Avoid strong and corrosive detergents which will make the surface glaze dull. Dry the product with a soft cloth after use, but do not use steel balls, steel brushes or abrasive cleaning pads. Clean off dirt such as coffee、tea and other stains on the ceramic surface as soon as possible.
2.Why do cracks appear on washbasins when hot water is poured onto it?
Thermal cracking: cracks arise because of uneven heating between the ceramic body and glazed surface. Ceramic material has a low thermal conductivity characteristic. When we pour hot water into the wash basin, the part of the wash basin that comes in contact with the hot water expands, but its other parts are still cold. As heat is not conducted throughout the material at the same time, the big temperature difference directly results in the cracks. We need to be careful of this especially during the cold winter season.
3.Why does the toilet base crack after installation?
When we install toilets with wet cement, the ceramic material expands when it comes in contact with water. To avoid this situation, there are two correct methods of installation: Dry construction and Wet construction. Dry construction: Seal the drain pipe with a flange ring or oil sludge, then fix the toilet base with foot screws. Wet Construction: Seal the drain pipe with a flange ring or oil sludge, then fix the toilet base with silicon sealant.
Clean the faucet with water, and then dry it with a soft cotton cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning detergents, abrasive cloth or paper towels, acidic or alkaline cleaning detergents, polishing agents, rough detergents or soap. Long-standing shampoo and body wash residue on the faucet surface will make it lose its luster or even directly affect the faucet quality.
Notes: Please clean softly and gently. For dirt that is difficult to remove, please clean with a neutral or unabrasive detergent, then remove the detergent with clean water, finally dry it with a soft cotton cloth.
2.What should we do when water flow becomes weak?
The reason why water flow becomes weak is that there are some impurities clogged in the faucet aerator head. We just need to remove the aerator head and use a toothbrush to clean the filter. In order to avoid product damage and aging caused by clogging due to impurities, we should clean faucets periodically.
Bathtub
1.How should bathtubs be cleaned and maintained?
